Good-bye tree!

We just had this HUGE tree taken down . It was like 150 years old and starting to rot. Every time we had a windstorm, branches would fall so we just decided to have it taken down. It took them 2 days to get it all done. It was a fascinating process . The kids and I spent most of those two days just watching them work. This is when half of the big branches were already down.

I am very sad to report that many squirrel families lost their homes that day :( Now they just run around our yard looking lost.
